Student Research Projects

During the 4th semester, each student participates in Independent Research.  During this course, students prepare a research paper and a presentation that is available to the entire student community and the midwifery community at large.  A copy of each research paper is reserved in the Birthwise library.

The next Student Research Presentation Day is scheduled for Wednesday, March 6, 2013 and is open to all professionals involved in birth work.  These presentations will be offered by our students who matriculated into the Campus program in the fall of 2011.

Writing Support for Students

These resources may assist students with preparing to write research papers for various classes, particularly for the Independent Research class, as taught by Susi Delaney, MA, CPM.  Please bookmark this page and refer back to it regularly, as needed.
